Let me explain ...
My husband worked as a General Contractor in Arizona for many years - as did his Father. I noticed that a surprising amount of his work involved repairing poor workmanship left behind by other contractors, or finishing projects after contractors had abandoned the job altogether.
At the same time, I was working for a local Landscaping Company. If my crews were working in a particular neighborhood - and I had time to kill - I would go door to door in that neighborhood meeting people to see if they had any landscaping needs.
Of the houses I visited, most were not in need of landscaping at the moment.
But here’s the interesting thing: of the remaining homeowners I was able to chat with, almost EVERY one of them had some sort of a home improvement project they needed help with!
A few needed a new roof. Others had fencing needs. One actually wanted a new pool. Another had a chirping smoke alarm they didn’t know how to deal with.
I was surrounded by OPPORTUNITY ... and I couldn’t help ANY of them!
That’s when my brain said, “Wait a minute! Not everybody needs landscaping … but almost EVERYBODY needs SOMETHING!"
"Why limit myself to helping homeowners with only ONE trade when I could EASILY have connected them with the Contractor they needed?”
I quit my landscaping job soon after that. And that’s when The CONNECTOR was born.
